Confidentiality

During the course of the nanny’s placement — and at all times thereafter — all confidential information, whether written or verbal, pertaining to the family and its members shall remain private.

The nanny shall not reproduce, release, share, disclose, or authorize any other person to disclose such information without the express written consent of her employers.

All files and records related to the nanny must also remain confidential at all times.

For security purposes, employers shall safeguard all sensitive information belonging to the nanny for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of termination. Any property or confidential files pertaining to the nanny that cannot be returned in person upon the nanny’s departure shall be mailed to the address on file within two (2) weeks of termination, or otherwise securely destroyed.

Information pertaining to the nanny may only be used with her authorization and solely for employment or government-related purposes.
