About me

My name is Martha J. Escudero. My journey in childcare began in 2000 when I moved to Los Angeles, California. There, I discovered my passion for nurturing and supporting families. Those were six meaningful years, during which I was dedicated to work. I moved to Austin, Texas, in 2006.

Since 2011, I’ve proudly called Buda, Texas, my home.

In 2004, I began formal studies in Child Psychology, which profoundly shaped my career. I later pursued certifications as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula to deepen my expertise in infant care. With over 24 years of experience and glowing recommendations from families I’ve served, I bring both compassion and professionalism to every home I enter.

Caring for children is more than a career; it’s a lifelong calling. I cherish the trust families place in me and take joy in witnessing a newborn grow into a happy, thriving child. I provide not only expert care for babies but also reassurance and confidence to parents who are navigating early parenthood.

My approach is gentle, intuitive, and deeply respectful of each family's values. Parents can feel at ease knowing their baby is safe, loved, and cared for with professionalism and heart.

I am the mother of two sets of twins, and I welcome families with multiples.

There is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child, and there exist communities in other cultures where people take this literally. Unfortunately, in our culture, we can't expect our parents, sisters, brothers, or even cousins to come live with us while our babies grow. Mom and Dad usually go through all the phases of pregnancy and postpartum alone. There is nothing to be afraid of, and there is much to learn. However, in our US culture, the industry is growing at its fastest pace each day. Child care professionals have adopted the services of teachers and nurses, and more and more, other agencies are joining our communities to provide complete support to parents. Doulas, postpartum Doulas, lactation consultants, and early baby educators come together to offer new parents all the support they need, beginning in the early stages of pregnancy.

Education and experience are sometimes not necessary when new professionals can prove their education in each field. However, many times, education and experience are obtained by the verified number of years a provider has worked with parents and children.
