Forms of identification
Candidates are advised to keep copies of the following documents in their professional portfolio.
Never leave any documents, original or copies, with a family.
Families will request this information to verify INS working permits, FBI, and motorist history upon hiring.
Families are encouraged to return original and copies of the employee documents and to mail all personal documentation of the employee at employment separation.
- Driver's license (most commonly used)
- Social security card
- State identification card
- Passport
- Any certification, Authorization of employment issued by the INS
